HOW TO MAKE PLANTAIN (RIPE) PUFF PUFF

 Recipe>

1. Plantain (3 or as required)


2. Eggs (2)


3. All-purpose flour (2 cups)


4. Yeast (1tsp)


5. Vanilla extract or vanilla sugar


6. Salt (pinch)


7. Warm water.


8. Veg. oil




PROCEDURES> 

(*Step 1*) Cut the plantain into large chunks and put in a blender;


Add a pinch of salt, water and blend together.


(*Step 2*) Get a clean bowl; add the warm water and put in your yeast powder. Mix together.


Add your vanilla and set aside


Get another clean bowl; add your flour and create a hole in the middle to pour in your batter (plantain paste)

Whisk the eggs and add to the batter

Stir and combined all together.


(*Step 3*) Pour in your yeast water (bit by bit) incorporate all together. (not too thick/thin)


After that, use a kitchen nylon to cover the batter. Set aside (in a room temperature) for it to rise. 30-40mins



(*Step 4*) Add your veg. oil into your frying pan on a medium low heat to fry.


Scoop in your batter and fry (make sure you don’t overcrowd your pan).


You can serve with an African pepper stew.
