HOW TO MAKE MOI MOI ELEWE

 Recipe>

1. Beans (blend; with bonnet pepper, bell pepper, onions, ginger & garlic)


2. Meat stock


3. Boiled egg(s)


4. Season cube(s)


5. Fish (shredded)


6. Leaves


7. Veg.oil


8. Salt



PROCEDURES>
(*Step 1*) Wash your beans and peel;

Make sure the beans is clean; add your pepper, onions ginger& garlic.

Blend all together and set aside.


(*Step 2*) Wash and boil your fish, make sure all the bones are out.

Shred and set aside


(*Step 3*) Wash your leaves with salted warm water

Cut out the stem and place them in the cooking pot.


*COOKING PROCESS*

(*Step 1*) Get a clean bowl; pour in your blended beans

Add your veg.oil, season cube, meat stock and salt.

Stir and combined all together (not too thick/thin)


(*Step 2*) Grab your leaf and form a cone shape;

Add your blended beans with a measure cup/spoon


Add your shredded fish, boiled egg (or whatever you desire) 


(*Step 3*) put the moi moi inside a steamer or arrange the stem of the leaves inside the pot to prevent moi moi from touching the water while cooking.


Steam for 40- 50mins


Make sure you are checking from time to time.


Once the moi moi is ready;

Turn off the heat; let it cool down a bit before serving.
