HOW TO MAKE SHORTBREAD BISCUITS

 Recipe>

1. Flour (2cups)


2. Butter (salted; 1cup)


3. Powder sugar/ icing sugar (½ cup)



PROCEDURES>

(*Step1*) Get a clean bowl; 

Add your butter, sieve the powder sugar/icing sugar into the bowl.

Mix together until well incorporated.


Sieve the flour (bit by bit) into the mixture

Mix and incorporate all together to form dough.


(*Step2*) Place the dough on a plastic wrap (kitchen nylon)

Place another plastic wrap over the dough


Roll out the dough; (form a half inch thick rectangle shape). 


Place the dough on a tray (while inside the kitchen nylon)


Refrigerate for 30mins (so the dough doesn’t fall apart in the oven).


(*Step3*) Bring out the dough from the refrigerator (after 30mins)


Roll out the dough to get the perfect rectangle shape


Remove the wrap on the dough; cut with a pizza cutter/ cookie cutter/knife


Use a fork (cutleries) to give it that shortbread signature cookie look; at the top.


Lining the baking tray with parchment paper

Arrange the cookie dough on it.


Bake in a preheated oven for 10-15mins or until it turns brown
