Recipe>
1. All purpose flour (1½cup)
2. Melted butter (3tsp)
3. Sugar (4tsp)
4. Yeast (1tsp)
5. Warm milk (½ cup)
6. Eggs (3)🥚🥚🥚
7. Veg.oil (1tsp)
8. Salt (½ tsp).
PROCEDURES>
(*Step 1*) Get a clean bowl; add the flour, sugar and salt.
Mix together and set aside.
(*Step 2*) Take another small bowl; add the warm milk and yeast.
Mix together thoroughly; let it sit for 3-5mins.
Pour the melted butter and add the eggs (2) into the yeast mixture.
Beat together thoroughly.
(*Step 3*) Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients (flour).
Mix to form dough.
Drizzle some veg.oil on the dough; knead until the dough turns smooth and soft.
(*Step 4*) Cover with a towel or plastic wraps in the bowl, leave it to rise for at least 1hour in a room temperature (or till dough double its size).
After that, punch lightly to deflate the excess air, and transfer to a work surface
(*Step 5*) Gently sprinkle some flour on the work surface
Roll dough with your hand and shape into a log.
Get a kitchen knife and divide the dough into smaller equal parts.
(*Step 6*) Roll each piece into ball(s) (O O O O O O O O ) and set aside.
Get a baking pan/ stainless bowl/aluminum pan or any heat safe dish.
Lightly grease the pan/bowl with some veg.oil or butter or lined with a parchment paper to prevent sticking.
(*Step 7*) Gently arrange the dough ball(s) inside the pan/bowl (leave at least an inch space in between the rolls).
Cover for an additional 10-20mins, for the dough to rise and double in size again for baking.
(*Step 8*) Ready to bake-->without an oven, get a big pot, and add some salt to the bottom to absorb the excess heat.
Drop a stand or rack inside it to limit direct contact to the pot, cover and preheat pot for few minutes.
(*Step 9*) Egg wash (remaining 1 egg with a tsp of milk in a plate), brush the surface of the of the dough with egg wash.
Bake immediately after brushing.
Bake bread under low medium heat for 30-40mins (or till crust has a golden brown color) on stove.
*OR* Bake in oven for 20-30mins at 170o.
*NB* When its ready, brush the top of the bread with some melted butter while it still hot (optional).
Cover for 5-10mins to allow melted butter to give the bread a softer, shiner and glossier finish look & taste.
Serve and enjoy with friends and family.
*NB*: preheat pot/oven while dough are rising (in the pan/bowl) to avoid delay.
